Claiming high balls and saving at the near post
Description
In this session we are focusing on claiming high balls and saving at the near post. The drill begins with the coach throwing a ball in the air for the player to meet claim and protect before throwing back to the coach. The player then moves around the cone/pole before moving towards the near post to save a low driven shot. The player should ensure they move towards the ball in the air and spring up to gain height. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
