Moving to drop and save at the near post
Description
In this session we are focusing on moving to drop and save at the near post. The drill begins with the player shuffle through the cones/poles. The player then looks to drop in line with the cone behind once they have shuffled through the cones. When moving backwards, the player should ensure they don’t turn the body away from the ball. As the player arrives at the cone, the coach then hits the ball towards the front post for the player to save and keep away from the goal. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
