Reacting quickly to move & get back into the middle of the goal
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players reactions to move quickly and get back into the middle of the goal. The coach will number each part of the square to instruct the player to move. If the coach says save after a number, the player then knows a shot will arrive. As a progression, the shout of shit can be removed to make it more difficult for the player. It’s important that the player enables themselves to always be able to see the ball when moving by maintaining their body shape. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least three times.
