Neat footwork to push out and drop to save
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players footwork and ability to push out and drop to save. The drill begins with the player moving through the agility ladder focusing on staying light on their feet and pumping the arms. The player then moves towards the cone/pole ahead to move up and around to then drop to the cone behind. As the player moves across the cone, the coach then looks to shoot across the goal for the player to save. The player should look to push the ball away from goal if they cannot handle it. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
