Moving up to handle and shuffling the feet to save

Description

In this session we are focusing on handling the ball and reacting to shuffle quickly and save. The drill begins with the player moving to the cone/pole ahead of them, were the coach looks to play the ball into the players chest to handle and protect. The player then moves backwards to the start cone, with the coach then instructing them which cone to move to. The player shuffles out to the cone and then back across the goal were the coach plays the ball for the player to save. When handling the ball, the player should ensure they get their body behind the ball. When shuffling, the player should bend the knees and never cross their feet over. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed atleast three times.
