Working the feet quickly to move into a position to save

Description

In this session we are focusing on working the feet quickly to retain a position to save. The drill begins with the player moving through the ladders and then over the hurdles (cones as an alternative). As the player moves over the hurdles the coach shouts a number (1 or 2) which means to move across the goal to save, or around the pole to save. The player looks to increase speed and momentum by staying light on their feet and should retain a low body position when moving around/towards the pole to move quickly and push out to save. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least times each side.
