Push the ball away and react quickly to save
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players ability to push the ball away, before reacting quickly to save. The drill begins with the coach instructing the player which cone to move towards. The player then reacts to dive and push the ball off the cone. Once the player has tipped the ball away, they look to get back onto their feet quickly to save a shot on goal. The player should ensure they have their knees bent slightly to push off quickly. Each set should consist of four reps, and should be completed at least four times.
