Moving out and back across goal to push the ball away

Description

In this session we are focusing on our players ability to push the ball away from the goal. The drill begins with the player stepping over the cones/ladder, before stepping back across goal to save. The player looks to gain momentum by retaining a lower body position and moving their feet quickly over the cones. When saving, the aim for the player is to push the ball away from goal to prevent any rebounds. Each set should conists of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least two times from each side.
