Quick feet to claim at back post

In this session we are focusing on our players ability to move their feet across the goal to claim crosses at the back post. The drill begins with the player moving through the cones moving forward and backwards. As the player moves back through the final cone, the coach crosses the ball, so that the player can gain momentum and claim the ball. The player should look to protect the ball once they gain control. Each set should consist of 6 - 10 reps and should be completed at least three times each side.
