Springing across to save
Description
In this session we are focusing on players ability to explode across to save. The drill begins with the coaches command to the player to move to pole/cone one or two, or they can be different colours. The player then moves across the line to touch the pole, before exploding back across the line to save a ball which is travelling towards the opposite pole. The player looks to spring across the goal by staying light on their feet and retaining a lower body position. Each set should contain 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least three times.
