Travelling back and across goal to save at the near post

Description

In this session we are focusing on travelling back and across goal to save at the near post. The drill begins with the player travelling back and round the middle cone and then across to the near post. The coach then strikes the ball for the player to save. The player looks to cover their near post and tip the ball away from goal if the shot is played across to the far post. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times per side.
