Moving the feet quickly
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players ability move quickly and adjust to save. The drill begins on the coaches command for the player to move towards and around one of the poles/cones. Once the player moves around the pole, as they travel back towards goal, the coach looks to throw the ball over the player and into the goal. The player needs to move quickly, but travel towards the goal to tip the ball away. This is to recreate moments in the game when the team lose possession and the GK has to move quickly towards goal. Each set should consist of 4 -6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
