First touch, distribution and quick movement to save


Description

In this session we are focusing on our first touch, distribution and quick movement to save. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to open out with the first touch and then distribute into one of the two goals. The player then moves round the cone and back across goal to save with the aim to handle or push past the past. The players body shape should be open and they receive the ball on the back foot. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
