Handling/parrying the ball away from the danger area
Description
In this session we are focusing on handling/parrying the ball away from the danger area. The drill begins with the player shuffling to one of the cones and back into the middle. The coach then shoots with the player looking to handle or parry the ball into one of the goals representing parrying the ball away from the danger area (Central area). The player can receive two points for handling and one point for parrying into the goals. If the player parries the ball into the central area the coach should look to shoot again. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least three times.
