Distribution, handling and reacting quick to get across and save
Description
In this session we are focusing on our distribution, handling and reacting quick to get across and save. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who opens out and passes to their teammate. The player then moves through the gate to dive and handle a driven shot. The player then gets up and moves across goal to save a shot from their teammate. The player should receive the ball on the back foot and retain a low body shape when moving across the goal. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times per player each side.
