Claiming High Balls to Transition
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players ability to claim a high ball into the box, before setting the team to attack. The drill begins with the player moving through the pole/cones, before the coach kicks/throws the ball high for the keeper to claim. The keeper then looks to throw or kick out of their hands into one of the gates. If they throw the ball, it should be into wide areas. Each set should consist of 4-8 reps, and should be completed at least three times.
