Positive first touch to distribute the ball into midfield and out wide


Description

In this session we are focusing on a positive first touch to distribute the ball into midfield and out wide. The drill begins with the coach passing the ball to player who takes a touch out their feet. The player then either passes the ball into the small goals representing a pass into midfield or the player looks to clip the ball into a wide area via the boxes. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
