Handling, quick movement and footwork to dive and handle low


Description

In this session we are focusing on handling, quick movement and footwork to save and handle low. The drill begins with the coach playing the ball into the players chest for them to catch and handle. The player then throws the ball back and moves quickly around the cone to dive and handle the ball played in low. The player should use the body to grasp to keep the ball secure. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
