Saving from different distances: up and set quickly
Description
In this session we are focusing on saving from different distances: up and set quickly. The drill begins with the coach striking one of the two closest balls. As soon as the player has saved they look to get up and set as quickly as possible to be ready to face the next shot. As the coach moves further back the player should edge slightly further off their line to close the angle and ensure they can save shots placed in the corners. The player should ensure they stay light on their feet to react quickly. Each set should consist of 6 shots and should be completed at least three times.
