Handling and quick movement across goal to save

Description

In this session we are focusing on handling and quick movement across goal to save. The drill begins with the player 2 kicking the ball into player 1 who looks to handle before throwing back and moving to the opposite side of the cone to repeat. Once the player has handled on both sides they look to move round the cone and travel across goal to save at the far post. The players body shape should ensure that they see the ball when travelling across and they look to save away from danger by keeping the ball out of central areas. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
