Handling and coordination to react to dive onto loose ball


Description

In this session we are focusing on handling and coordination to react to dive onto loose ball. The drill begins with the coach and the player tossing the balls back and forth to each other with a small shuffle in between. At any time the coach will look to drop their ball for the player to then react to dive onto the ball. The player should ensure that they protect the ball once diving to secure it. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
