Receive and play, move across quickly to save


Description

In this session we are focusing on receiving to play and move across quickly to save. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to take a touch to either side to then play back to the coach. The player then looks to travel across the goal quickly to save. The player should adapt the body shape to receive the ball on the back foot to receive. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
