Handling and quick movement to catch and hold


Description

In this session we are focusing on handling and quick movement to catch and hold. The drill begins with the coach throwing the ball to the player who catches and throws back. This repeats until the coach shouts a number of a cone for the player to move around. The player then looks to shuffle into the middle of the cones catch and hold a driven ball into the body. The player should retain a low body shape and stay light on their feet whilst moving. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
