Save from long distance and react to keep a header out
Description
In this session we are focusing on save from long distance and react to keep a header out. The drill begins with the player/coach shooting from distance with the player not knowing where the player will aim so having to react to save. The coach/player at the side then throws a ball for the attacker to attack and head towards goal. The keeper aims to react after the first shot to get up and save the header. The keeper should retain a low body shape and be light on their feet to be able to react to the shot/header. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
