Claiming Crosses to Transition
Description
In this session we are focusing on our ability to claim crosses, before looking to set the team to counter attack. The drill begins with the keeper moving through the poles/cones to reenact a crowd of players. The coach then delivers a ball for the keeper to claim, who then looks to either throw or kick out of their hands through one of the gates. This is to recreate a scenario of setting the team on the counter attack. Each set should consist of 4-8 reps and should be completed at least three times.
