Quick feet to travel and save, reactions to get up and save rebound
Description
In this session we are focusing on quick feet to travel and save, reactions to get up and save rebound. The drill begins with the player reacting to the cone which the cone instructs them to move to. The player then travels quickly back to the middle of the goal to save a volley from the coach. The player looks to handle and protect the ball, if that is not possible and the ball goes back into play the player looks to get up and out quickly to save the rebound. The coach should strike the first shot hard at the player to make it difficult for them to save. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
