Adapting to the coaches movement to handle and protect the ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on adapting to the coaches movement to handle and protect the ball. The drill begins with the coach shouting a number of one of the cones for the player to travel and touch. The player then adapts their body shape to face the coach and handle and protect a driven shot into the body. The drill then repeats with the coach moving round the square whilst the player is moving to touch the said cone. The player should ensure that they adapt the body shape swiftly to face the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least three times.
