Swift movement and transition to save at the near post
Description
In this session we are focusing on swift movement and transition to save at the near post. The drill begins with the player accelerating to the cone ahead before transitioning to back pedal to the cone behind. As the player reaches the cone behind they look to travel back across the goal to then save at the near post. When the player moves round the last cone they look to retain a low body shape to travel swiftly to save. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
