Step and drop to travel quickly to show quick feet to block


Description

In this session we are focusing on stepping and dropping to travel quickly to show quick feet to block. The drill begins with the player stepping out to the wide cone before transitioning to back pedal and drop around the middle cone. The player then steps up and shows quick feet around the central cone to then move out and block the shot. The player should ensure that they stay light on their feet and retain a low body body position when changing movement and moving round the cone. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
