Neat footwork to travel back and attack the ball in the air

Description

In this session we are focusing on neat footwork to travel back and attack the ball in the air. The drill begins with the player shuffling back through the cones before moving around the wide cone to then drop. As the player moves round the deepest cone the coach then throws the ball into the air for the player to attack and head clear. The player should head the ball high to make it difficult for attackers to bring down. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
