Shuffling and quick feet to block the pass


Description

In this session we are focusing on shuffling and quick feet to block the pass. The drill begins with the player moving across the agility ladder whilst facing forward. The player then shuffles to and around the cone/pole before then blocking the pass played by the coach. When shuffling the player should ensure that they retain a lower body position and stay light on their feet. Once the player has blocked the pass they move back to the ladder to repeat on the opposite side. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
