ABC’s to head clear and work feet quickly to block
Description
In this session we are focusing on our ABC’s to head clear and work feet quickly to block. The drill begins with the player moving towards the cone/pole before pushing off. As the player pushes off the coach looks to throw the ball in the air for the player to head clear. After the player has headed the ball, they look to move to the agility ladder and shuffle across to block. The player should ensure they stay light on their feet throughout and do not cross the feet over when moving through the ladder and when they block the pass/shot. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
