In this session we are focusing on our players ability to transition from Defence to Attack. The drills starts with the coach throwing a ball up for the player to back pedal and head back. The player moves through the poles/cones to then intercept a pass, before backpedaling beyond the furthest cone to receive the ball, take it across the body and pass into the coach. The player then moves back to the middle before repeating the sequence on the opposite side to enable the use of the both feet. The drill should be completed for 30-60 seconds depending on the players age, and at least three times.
