Quick transitions to head clear, play forward and fast footwork
Description
In this session we are focusing on quick transitions to enable heading clear, playing forward and fast footwork. The drill begins with the player stepping up to the cone ahead, before transitioning to head the ball clear. The player then looks to scan and drop to the start cone, where they receive the ball, open out and play forward into the goal/gate. We then want the player to react instantly to move to the ladder to move across and back. The player should pump the arms and knees and stay light on their feet throughout. Each set should consist of 2 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
