Varying movements and body position to step/drop and block

Description

In this session we are focusing on our players ability to vary movements and body shape to step/drop and block the ball. The drill begins with the player stepping up to the cone ahead. As they approach the cone, they should look to slow down and retain a body shape which allows them to jockey to the cone to the left and back to the start point. When the player reaches the start point, they look to transition to face the ball and move across to block the ball. The player should ensure that they stay low and side on when travelling backwards. Each set should consist of 2 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
