Jockeying down the line & movement to clear balls
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players jockeying and ability to clear balls away from goal. The drill begins with the player moving across the agility ladder and then out to close the red player down. The blue player looks to slow down as they approach, retain a low body position and show the player down the line. As the players reach the cone, the blue player then looks to transition to move across the box and defend a ball played in by the coach, aiming to clear away from goal. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed two times per player from each side.
