Weaving to shuffle out and head the ball clear


Description

In this session we are focusing on weaving out of tight spaces to head the ball. The drill begins with the player manoeuvring through the cones/poles before shuffling out and around the pole to then head the ball thrown in by the coach. The player then looks to repeat moving the opposite way. The player should retain a body shape that enables them to see the ball at all times. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least three times.
