Intercepting the pass to transition to attack the ball

Description

In this session we are focusing on intercepting the pass and transitioning to attack the ball. The drill begins with the blue player moving through the ladder/cones before stepping out and then recovering to block the pass travelling through the gate. The player then looks to transition and move around the pole at the far post, were the coach then looks to throw the ball up for the player to attack and score, to reenact attacking the ball from a cross/corner. When travelling back towards goal, the players body angle should enable them to see the ball and defend the space. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times per player.
