Defensive movement to receive

Description

In this session we are focusing on our players movement to transition. The drill begins with the player moving to the pole/cone infront to intercept a ball thrown/bounced in from the coach. The player moves across and around the cone to the side to replicate cutting passing lanes in a game. Once the player moves around the cone, they back pedal to the pole behind to receive the ball, take across the body and pass back. The player should focus on their body shape and scanning their shoulders when moving sideways and backwards. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be compldted at least three times.
