Intercepting forward passes
Description
In this session we are focusing on intercepting forward passes. The drill begins with the player moving to the pole/cone infront where the coach throws a ball for the player to clear. The player then back pedals to the deep pole, before moving around and towards one of the goals where the coach looks to pass into. The aim for the player is to prevent the ball moving forward, reenacting cutting a passing lane upon transition in a game. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
