Intercepting and moving to attack the ball in the box
Description
In this session we are focusing on intercepting and moving to attack the ball in the box. The drill begins with the coach throwing the ball on either side of the cone for the player to intercept. The player then moves around the middle cone to attack a ball played in the box. The player looks to clear away from goal and keep the body shape open when travelling. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times per side.
