Jockeying, changing direction and reacting to move and block
Description
In this session we are focusing on jockeying, changing direction and reacting to move and block. The drill begins with the coach moving the ball to either the left or the right with the player then jockeying backwards in that direction. The coach can change the direction of the ball at any time with the player adapting their body shape. If the coach says touch the coach starts moving back and the player steps to touch the ball and then back to jockeying. At anytime the coach can shout a number of a cone/pole for the player to move round and then block a shot. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least three times.
