Shuffling and back pedalling to clear the shot from danger
Description
In this session we are focusing on shuffling and back pedalling to clear the shot from danger. The drill begins with the player shuffling to the outside cone before transitioning to backpedal and move round the back cone to then block the shot. The player should clear the ball away from the middle of the pitch. The player body shape should ensure they can see the ball at all times. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
