Touch and play, recover to beat the attacker and block
Description
In this session we are focusing on a touch and play, recover to beat the attacker and block. The drill begins with the coach passing the ball to the player who opens out and passes into the goal. The defender then recovers around the wide cone and the attacker dribbles with the ballot the middle. The attacker shoots towards the goal as soon as they move past the cone. The defender looks to clear the ball away from the middle of the pitch. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least two times each side per player.
