Movement to intercept

Description

In this session we are focusing on our players ability to step in and intercept the ball, before transitioning to play forward. The drill begins with the coach throwing the ball up for the player to head back. The player then moves through the poles to intercept, before moving back around the pole to repeat on the opposite side. After intercepting for the second time, the player then moves back around the pole to play a first time pass through the gate. The player should always follow through the ball when passing. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps, and should be completed at least three times.
