Fast feet, body shape to block and transition to play
Description
In this session we are focusing on fast feet, body shape to block and transition to play. The drill begins with the player moving through the ladder and then stepping up to the first cone and transitioning back round the come behind to block. The player then reacts quickly to get across the goal and block again. The coach will then pass a ball in for the player to touch into space and play forward into the goal/gate. The players body shape is important as they should be open and not closed when travelling across goal. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least two times per side.
