Body shape to see the ball and clear off both feet
Description
In this session we are focusing on our body shape to see the ball and clear off both feet. The drill begins with the player stepping out to a cone/pole before dropping back the cone behind, ensuring the body shape to open to see the ball at all times. Once the player moves round the cone the coach looks to cross a ball either on the floor or bouncing for the player to clear away from danger. The player should always follow through the ball and maximise the distance on the clearance. The player then repeats going the opposite direction. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
