Conditioning drill focusing on stepping, recovering and intercepting


Description

In this session we are focusing on a conditioning drill focusing on stepping, recovering and intercepting. The drill begins with the player accelerating to one of the high cones. The player then drops back whilst facing play to recover and then block the pass aimed at the goal. The player should ensure that their body shape enables them to see the ball whilst moving backwards. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
