Shuffle, slide and adapt body shape to move, head and receive
Description
In this session we are focusing on shuffling, sliding and adapting body shape to move, head and receive. The drill begins with the player shuffling backwards through the cones looking to retain a low body position and stay light on their feet. The player then moves to a wide cone and then moves to the cone behind, looking to adapt the body shape. The coach will then throw a ball up for the player to attack and head clear. Finally, the player then drops back to the middle cone to receive, open out and play wide. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least 3 times.
