Stepping and dropping to head clear and control a high ball


Description

In this session we are focusing on stepping and dropping to head clear and control a high ball. The drill begins with the player stepping to the mannequin/pole and dropping off to then head the ball clear. The player then steps out to the outside cone before transitioning to drop and control a high ball to pass back to the coach. The player should ensure that they head the ball with height and follow through to get more distance. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
